Adani Green Energy has commenced commercial operations at six renewable power projects in Khavada, Gujarat and in Bap, Rajasthan. These six projects will add a combined capacity of 275.6 MW to Adani Renewables’ portfolio.

Adani’s gigantic 1011 MW capacity additionAdani Green Energy’s 275 MW capacity addition comes a day after the gigantic 1011 MW capacity addition. On June 30, the company announced that it had started commercial operations at 6 renewable power projects in Khavada, Gujarat.

Of its mammoth 15,815 MW renewable power generation capacity, Adani Green Energy has a solar capacity of 11,205 MW. Additionally, it has a wind power capacity of 1985.8 MW and 2624 MW of wind-solar hybrid capacity.

In a statement, Adani Green Energy said that it has achieved the fastest and largest capacity addition in India. The majority of the Adani renewable projects are greenfield projects.

Adani’s massive Khevda project

Adani Green Energy is building the world’s largest solar energy park in Khevda, Kutch, Gujarat. The company is building a massive solar power plant in a 538 square km area, 5 times of the city of Paris.

The company says that once fully operational, the Khevda project will have a 30,000 MW power-generating capacity. Currently, the project has an operational capacity of 5,355 MW at the Khevda power project. According to Adani Green Energy’s estimates, the Khevda project will be fully operational by 2029.
